About Southwest Community Services

Southwest Community Services, Inc. is a non-profit, human services agency with four separate and distinct divisions: Tinley Park Developmental Training Program, Employment Services and the Southwest Therapy & Rehabiliation Services (STARS). Each division serves a different population including developmentally disabled adults, mentally disabled adults, children 0-3 years old with development delays and individuals with cerebral palsy and other neuromuscular disorders. After over 40 years, SCS continues to be a top provider of human services in the south and southwest suburban area and is set for future growth.

Since its beginning in 1971, Southwest Community Services, Inc. has always provided for the social, vocational and emotional well being of its consumers encompassing individuals with developmental, mental and physical disabilities.

"Bowling is the best"

SCS held its 4th Annual Bowl-A-Thon on Sunday March 10th at Tinley Park Bowl. This year SCS was able to raise $7,500 for out programs and services! Thank you to our major sponsors in making this our best one yet! Community Services Foundation, Horton Insurance, Standard Bank, Ambrosino's Italian Deli and Market, and Tinley Park Bowl.
